Shilpa Shetty’s wedding was held for very select invitees with the bride’s party staying at the Bawa Villa, since hotelier GS Bawa and wife Kiran are dear friends. Raj Kundra’s baraat came in from the Duke’s Retreat close by, where Kundra mounted a horse-driven chariot. Jackky and Vashu Bhagnani were part of the baraat while attendees from Tinseltown included Rohit and Mansi Roy and choreographer Ganesh Hegde. The wedding was held in traditional Bunt style in keeping with Shilpa’s Mangalorean origins, whereupon  the couple returned to Shilpa’s Mumbai home for the bidaai ceremony.
