Retro power

Ajay and wife Swati Piramal threw a pre-birthday bash for brother Dilip's 60th birthday. Invitations were sent out for everyone to dress retro since it was to be a Sixties party and a return to Flower Power. A vintage jalopy bedecked with colourful hats and flowers transported the protagonists to the indoors venue, where a band played hits from the Beatles and even John Lennon's Imagine. Several guests wore candy floss pink and blue floppy hats  and among those who came in were Dilip's friend and mentor Rahul Bajaj, Harsh Goenka, Ashok and Reena Wadhwa, Sunil Alagh, Geetu Hinduja, and Vandana Malik. Rashmi Uday Singh came in bearing a flower signboard that read 'Rockstar Dilip' which was quite a highlight. The party continued on the freshly sprinkled lawns outside later.
