The 25th edition of Vijay Mallya’s big derby event turned out to be a fashion do of sorts with the likes of Sarah Jane Dias, Claudia Ciesla, Shivani Wazir and Nisha Jamvwal in their element.  While Sarah wore a stunning gold cutaway dress, Nisha sported a grey ensemble and a hairstyle to match while Claudia was surprisingly prim in a skirt and blouse. Some of the glitterati who dropped in for the daytime races included Delna and Adar Poonawala, Sharmilla and Shaan Khanna, Farida and Pankaj Udhas, Jagjit Singh and others. The race was won by Vijay Mallya’s horse and inside favourite Jacqueline with Pesi Shroff as trainer and Richard Hughes as jockey.
