Alyque Padamsee and troupe performed at Samina Lokhandwala’s gallery for the opening of Masterfaces featuring the works of Akbar Padamsee, Gieve Patel and Sudhit Patwardhan. Since the gallery was rather small, not all the guests could catch the act but those that could enjoyed it — and that included his solo performance as well. Between bites of cheesecake and giggles, Samina welcomed one and all and pestered folks to have something to eat. The food was indeed yummy! While the art works were executed by maestros, they were somewhat limited in number.
