Ever since man has consciously looked up to a tranquil blue sky, he has sought to flout the surly bonds of mother Earth. Before the Wright Brothers, mythical objects and events like soaring Indian vimanas and the tragic flight of Icarus seized the popular imagination. With an aim to have their time in the sun (well, not in the manner of ill-fated Icarus), college students with their heads in the clouds flocked at Our Lady Of Perpetual Succour (OLPS) High School in Chembur on Thursday to participate in a paper plane-making contest.
