This one lived up to the adage ‘come rain, some shine’. By the time it started, the rains had stopped trains, waterlogged roads and jammed traffic, but the invitees braved all that to mark their presence at this cocktail party hosted by Vivek Kumar. Bollywood costume designer Rocky S arrived with an unidentified friend on his arm and remained in her company all through the evening. Ditto Tulip Joshi and boyfriend Vinod Nayar. Amongst the others who turned up were Satish Maneshinde, Parvez Damania, Mink (yes, with her brother Punnu), Pratyasha Bole, Asif Bhamla, Kishen Mulchandani, Zulfi Sayed, Jennifer Mayani and Viren Shah. The mood was set with a stylised performance by firang dance troupe and the night stretched till well into the wee hours.
