The opening of a new American-franchise restaurant saw a variety of society belles drive down all the way, making a special effort to attend Tapaan Vaidya’s launch. Sharon Prabhakar drove from Film City where she was shooting till 10 pm to make it to the party which she says she thoroughly enjoyed. “Powai is absolutely great and coming here is like a dream  — it’s fantastic with the wide roads and the great planning,” she coos.  Candice Pinto and Rocky S hung out together, Brinda Parekh wore an attention-getting purple dress and there was lots of finger food and tall colourful drinks to go around that  made it worth everyone’s while.
