This collection was composed of four colours that often fought on each garment for priority. Canary, hyacinth, poppy and whites — three shades of yellow, blue and red that are extremely bright and remind one of the wonderful warmth of summer. The clothes were refreshing with some interesting cuts and even more interesting ideas. We were particularly fond of an off-white sari bordered with pleated double ribbons and a pair of loose-fitting almost dress-like pants in hyacinth. The young energy of the designer, Leela, showed in every garment and we’re proud of her bravado in experimenting with such colours.
