Vincent Hoogewijs hosted a champagne evening for the launch of the city’s newest watering hole, situated on the 34th floor of a mid-town  hotel and boasting panoramic views of the city. The chic set descended — or should we say ascended —in numbers, prominent among them, newly weds Timmy Narang and Eesha Koppikar, former cricket star Ravi Shastri and his wife, lensman Atul Kasbekar, fashionistas Celina Wadia, Gayatri Khanna Simone Singh and Prerna Goel. It was interesting to see Gregory Roberts being asked by many about the fate of the film being planned on his book Shantaram. Roberts spent several moments cuddling up to his wife Francoise Sturdza. It must have been an awkward moment for Ash Chandler to come face to face with his estranged wife Nethra Raghuraman, though reportedly both have moved on in life. As they say, we should rise above our differences — and what better place to do it than on the 34th floor!
