It was a gathering with heart, as high society came together at a charity art event to help the visually impaired.
Hosted by Sangeeta Assomull, her sons Vikram and Gaurav and Chhaya Momaya, “It was about learning to share with gratitude and dignity,” according to Chhaya. The venue sported a black decor and to  recitations of Vande Mataram and We Are The World, guests lit candles on their tables to honour the children’s struggles. Mahesh Jethmalani announced the lucky draws while wife Haseena was happy to be among the art and   musical notes. Suresh Oberoi came with wife Vasundara and daughter Megha, the latter who seemed quite taken up with the evening. Shailendra Singh seemed jovial and friendly, Anju Chulani was with son Zal,  while Kajal Fabiani in stylish blue, bonded with Anju’s mom Durga Chulani.
