The demonstration of made-in-a-jiffy Italian recipes for the winter, demonstrated by chef Andrea Golino had the crowd gather around the chef to find out how it was done. Andrea cooked up everything from bruschetta to fennel salad which were then served with fine cheese and wine. Some of those who came in included Anna Bredmayer (who was co-hosting the event), Simone Singh, Lascelles Symons and Colleen Khan. Said Anna, “My son is very fond of Italian food and given the modern age, food that can be made in a flash like chef Golino rustled up, may just be essential.”
