Assured touch

At the opening of Manu Parekh’s 'The Pursuit of Intensity' the artist was obviously the man of the evening and guests were all praise for his works. “The works ooze confidence and that’s rare,” said Brinda Miller. While many art lovers attended this event, one rare sight was seeing Jehangir Sabavala sans his wife Shireen. While Harsha Bhatkal and Ranjit Hoskote chatted through the evening with their respective close friends, Riyaz Komu was reluctant to pose for the shutterbugs. Some of the others who came in included Jaideep and Seema Mehrotra, Sanjeev and Alyona Kapoor, Bina Aziz, Kahini Arte Merchant, Jitish Kallat, Atul and Anju Dodiya and Sunil Padwal.
