A whole new muse
It’s a colourful new way to film promotion and in these times of recession — especially in the art market — it’s almost a godsend. Prithvi Soni put brush to canvas for Rimi Sen, the lead actress of Sankat City. There was really no dharamsankat for Soni — his initial claim to fame was being a Bollywood poster and hoarding painter. Given that MF Husain started the same way, it’s all par for the course now, isn’t it?
