Model-turned-actress-turned-entrepreneur Dipannita Sharma says that she is most happy when she is modelling.

Sharma says that starting a business was not a conscious decision or a fall back plan for her at all. "In fact, I always looked at modelling as a cushion to fall back on. I still model but I take up more commercials. Even when I did films, I knew that if something did not go as I hoped for it to, I always have modelling to go back to," she smiles adding, "That's one of the main reasons as to why I never went asking for roles in films. I look at turning entrepreneur is an addition to all my other skills."

Two of the country's premier fashion weeks just concluded, but fashionistas are still cribbing about the lack of a supermodel in the industry.

Ask Sharma what she thinks is the reason behind not being able to find one such face today and she says, "Honestly, I think very few of the models stand out. It's really sad," she chuckles.

Reminiscing her runway days, she says, "When I started out, there were a bunch of models I used to look up to. And most from my batch too had distinct personalities. I think most models today lack individuality and are trying to ape their seniors. That's probably why they're not standing out at all."
