A student from Philadelphia was left stunned when he discovered that he is the spitting image of an unknown aristocrat in a 16th century Italian painting at city’s Museum of Art.
Max Galuppo, 20, did not even notice the resemblance until his girlfriend Nikkie Curtis got him to pose beside it for a photograph.
“When you see the picture of me next to it, you can’t deny it,” the Sun quoted him as saying. Galuppo later discovered that he could be related to the bearded man from 1562 - pictured in a tunic and skin-tight leggings.
