Shopping is like a drug, admits Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham has admitted she is addicted to shopping after splurging 1 million pounds on just one trip to a street in Milan, Italy.

The former spice girl shopped at the most expensive shopping street, the Via Montenapoleone, in the town.

"I did spend too much. Shopping is like a drug. The more you have the more you want," the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

She added, "I would move in to the Via Montenapoleone if I could, because when I am in Milan, I don't know how to walk past it.

"It's as if all of those wonderful shops are calling out to me, ­saying, 'Come and buy me! Come and buy me!'"

Her purchases included dozens of handbags, handmade shoes and hand-stitched evening and cocktail dresses.

Victoria also bought 12 pairs of over-sized sunglasses, designer luggage and two bespoke suits for soccer star husband David.
