New Delhi: Rare photographs and caricatures of former prime minister Indira Gandhi were among the articles which were part of an exhibition organised here today to commemorate the 25th death anniversary of the late leader.

As part of exhibition 'Indira Priyadarshini' organised by the All India Congress Committeee (AICC), a screening of short film on the life of Gandhi was also shown.

The photographs displayed ranges from family pictures of the late prime minister to her political journey -- photos taken during her first oath taking ceremony as prime minister of India, her visits to various places in the country and abroad along with many others.

There are 20 panels with photographs on all four sides, a film screening enclosure, a cartoon corner to display caricatures by renowned cartoonist Ranga on Indira and one separate corner to display collage of newspaper clippings.

Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit was one of the first visitors to the exhibition.
