Pole dancing instructor Jessica Jackson shows users a step-by-step demonstration in the art of tease, erotic moves, and seductive eye contact.
Shockingly, the app is rated suitable for children aged 12 upwards in spite of having mild sexual content or nudity.
Jo Squires, director of children’s charity BIG Ministries, is demanding the app to be banned.
“When I read the description for the app Pole Dancer Pro I couldn’t believe that it was deemed suitable for people as young as 12,” she said.
“We already bombard children with images of perfectly-formed men and women, and clothing that is making our girls grow up way before their time.
“I’m all for encouraging new ways of helping people to keep fit, but do we really want to create a generation of children who are fully equipped in, what the app describes as, the art of tease, erotic moves and seductive eye contact.
However, the app’s creator, Arthur Howie, denies that it is seedy.
“We worked closely with professional instructor Jessica to design moves to work all of the key muscle groups.
“The app is proving popular with customers and we are getting some great feedback from users who love getting into shape.
Dancer Jessica also defended the app saying: “Pole Dancer Pro offers women an alternative way to effectively work out.
“It provides easy step by step guidance so any woman can learn the routines with ease and in the comfort of their home or surroundings.
“It enables any woman who feels inadequate about their own body to let go of her inhibitions and gain self-reassurance.
“Forget about social norms, morale and conservative practices that ladies should follow. Nothing is wrong with breaking the rules, if that makes you feel good.
“Pole Dancer Pro makes women feel sexy, comfortable in their own skin and releases the seductive woman we all have inside,” she added.
