Models promoted designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna outfits on the second day of the 15th edition of the on-going Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WLIFW) Autumn-Winter 2010 on Friday.

Gandhi and Khanna showcased their ensemble with a bold, trendy and stylish collection in various cuts, styles and patterns.

The theme of the show was Shadow Lines, and the designer duo tried to provide a range of wardrobe solutions to a modern woman by depicting a blend of classic and modern looks.

Models displayed sharp jackets, fitted trousers, asymmetrical dresses and tops with plenty of black and dark tones.

The collection was offered in different shades ranging from charcoal and greys to the golden, sage and deep turquoise.

The two designers said they had ventured to present a novel concept.

"We went to take the inspirations from the vintage look, we wanted to combine the vintage and modern. We took inspiration from the military, from 60's, shoulder power from 80's and it all combined together and brought into a lovely 2010 winters," noted Khanna.

The most exciting aspect of the show was the display of the collection with the help of different types of masks.

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi was also in the audience and appreciated the work of both designers.

"The show was fabulous, absolutely fabulous. It was a concept-based show, so it was not a regular base show where you have models like any other show as a showstopper. Everything, the lights, clothes, models with face covered; there was so much drama and it was like a play," said Oberoi.

The WLIFW-AW 2010, hosted by the Fashion Design Council of India, will witness the participation of 130 designers and seventy-five of them will also be presenting shows.

Nineteen new designers are also taking part.

The fashion extravaganza, featuring 43 shows, will end on March 28
