1. Ruby (Panna): Ruby is red in colour. It is a powerful stone and it stands for the Sun, the star of the solar system. Ruby helps boost leadership qualities in a person. Though, it might also make you too bossy at times. Actor Smriti Irani and businessman Anand Mahindra have been seen wearing it on their ring finger.
2. Yellow sapphire (Pukhraj): This is the stone for Jupiter. Jupiter is the planet of wealth and knowledge. Ekta Kapoor can be spotted wearing an extraordinarily large yellow sapphire on her index finger. The stone is very good for business expansion and Ekta has benefited from it enormously.
3. Blue sapphire
(Neelam): Blue Sapphire represents Saturn. Saturn is a very powerful planet and can cause you to rise or fall very rapidly. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan was facing an all-time low in his career when he was suggested to wear blue sapphire on his middle finger. Interestingly, this stone doesn’t suit everybody. For Amitabh Saturn is his lagna lord and the stone has proved very lucky for him. He wore the stone before signing up for Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) and since then, he has not looked back.
4. Emerald (Panna): Green in colour, the emerald is symbolic of Mercury and is worn on the little finger. Mercury is the lord of communication. If it suits you, then it can further your communications skills and memory power. The stone also avoids delays and brings speedy achievements. Actor Shilpa Shetty wears this stone. She achieved instant fame and recognition at a global level after wearing it.
5. Diamond (Heera): Diamond is for Venus and can help better personal life and sex drive. It can be especially beneficial for people who do no have a relationship and are looking for one. Diamond usually helps improve the standard of life in terms of luxury and fame. It’s the favourite stone among women and many wear it even without being suggested by an astrologer.
6. Coral (Moonga): Coral is red in colour and is worn on the ring finger. It is the stone for Mars. It can really help people who are timid and have problem expressing themselves in public. Otherwise the stone can help develop a strong and assertive attitude with people. Ekta Kapoor wears a coral other than the yellow sapphire.
7. Pearl (Moti): Pearl is symbolic of the Moon, representing the mind, imagination and creativity. It is suppose to have a calming effect on the wearer who may be very aggressive by nature. Gujarat’s CM Narendra Modi is most often seen wearing a pearl on his little finger.
