The Fuschia Futures Art Hunt that took place all over India has brought some new, fresh and talented artists to the forefront.

From sculptures to photography and also paintings, the exhibit is an impressive collection.

Like young artist Gauri who has had 10 group shows earlier created abnormal figurative works that reflects the world that she sees. Her works are bright and fun. She says, “I look at these works as normal human beings; in many ways it is a comment on human behavior and how I see and perceive it.”

And artist Rajesh Kumar Ranjan from Bhopal has actually managed to get back the souls of the great humans through his installation. He explains, “I have brought back those good qualities, souls of the earth, that have left us. Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad - I want all of them to come back and here is an open invitation for them.” He continues, “I have also imagined preserving the brains of geniuses like Mahatma Gandhi and Leonardo-Da-Vinci. And the highlight is my imagined heart of a mother that has immense love in it.”

The works of other eight artists from the hunt include an installation wherein the crows’ beaks are tied, among others.
