Paged
I really love the book The Last Song of Dusk by Siddharth Dhanvant Shanghvi. The story is inspired from the colonial India and I must agree that the author’s got the ability to get the readers hooked to the pages. I was so enamoured about the way he took the first half of the book and loved the language too. Another favourite author of mine is Paulo Cohelo. I just love reading the book — The Alchemist — over and over again.
Flick it
I love watching any good piece of cinema. The language or the genre doesn’t matter to me. I am not a huge fan of world cinema but love the films made by Wong Kar Wai. I love American television series too and that’s what inspires me the most. The concept of dysfunctional families and other concepts have caught my eye. I love the UK television series, Shameless, it’s just so gripping.
Music
I love film songs, and Hindi film music tops my list. I love listening to classic ghazals, as they are very soulful. I am huge fan of Kishore Kumar and that tops my iPod list. I also like a lot of film songs that have come out recently. There is one song in Shor In The City (Saibo), which I am hooked on to currently.
