Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend, Russian model Irina Shayk, were photographed this week wearing matching diamond bands on their right hands fueling speculation that they could be engaged and may tie the knot soon.
According to the New York Post, Ronaldo and Shayk travelled to Portugal in mid-June to celebrate the first birthday and baptism of Ronaldo’s young son, Cristiano Jr.
The couple later jetted to Istanbul, where they chartered a boat to cruise the Mediterranean.
Ronaldo will soon be in the US for an exhibition match between Real Madrid and the Los Angeles Galaxy in Los Angeles on July 17.
Ronaldo and Shayk have been dating since the start of 2010.
