They are famous for their bare-all photo shoots for Italian luxury brands as well as magazines. Their underwear advertisements portray their sexy image even further. We are talking about the Italian football team.

From the broody goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to the mature Gianluca Zambrotta, from the rough stubble-clad Genero Gattuso to the sexy Fabio Cannavaro — these boys get a lot of cheers from women.

Model Candice Pinto says, “Italians set a very cool style statement on the field and that’s why we always love to see them play. Lot of Indian women find them hot.”

Singer Shruti Pathak says girls who are not really interested in football are watching the game for the boys. “I would definitely want to check out good-looking men on the field. I’ll learn a lot about the game once I get clued in, even if it is because of the Italian footballers,” she says.

Hairdresser Sapna Bhavnani says it’s not just the footballers, but Italian men in general who have the hotness quotient. “Women find Italian men attractive. There’s something about them,” she ends.
