The marriage of supermodel Heidi Klum and singer Seal had reportedly hit the rocks after a bizarre bust-up when they dressed as apes, at a Halloween party.
The pair was seen screaming at each other by onlookers who claim they never recovered from the clash.
One guest at the New York bash said that the two bickered and furiously pointed fingers.
“It actually looked quite funny at the time. Here were two people in full ape costume arguing with each other,” the Daily Star quoted the guest as saying.
“It looked like Seal had really annoyed Heidi. He was being shouted and pointed at like he was a naughty schoolboy.
“She had a real go at him for leaving her alone to host their Vegas party a couple of days earlier.
“But far from being funny, looking back now, they were obviously having some serious problems and it’s quite sad really,” the guest added.
The 38-year-old is said to be preparing to file papers at Los Angeles’ County Superior Court this week citing “irreconcilable differences”.
They have three children Henry, six, Johan, five, and Lou, two.
