Mumbai: For a city like Mumbai which runs faster than its capacity, parents are finding it difficult to be with their kids during times when they need them the most. In a way, these social inadequacies have marked the entry of scientific educational toys in the market to smoothen the learning process for beginners.

For all such parents, one educational toy is coming to their rescue. My Baby Excels is a set of books which has a special pen. The pen is special in a way that whenever you put the nib of the pen close to the pictures or sentences in the book, it starts spelling them out. In a way, it's a self explanatory book that will help infants to learn themselves. And yes, parents can heave a sigh of relief at least momentarily.

LeapFrog, the world renowned leader in design and development of innovative and technology-based educational products, has brought the device to the subcontinent which has also introduced cutting age stuff like My Baby Einstein, Tamagotchi, WowWee, amongst others. Chris Spalding, MD of Leapfrog says, "Whenever we are making a toy or a device, we do extensive research on it. Reason being it deals with kids who are vulnerable in their initial learning stages."
