The microbrewery at Verbena Brewpub and Sky Garden has been overdue for long, but not anymore! The Kamla Mills-based rooftop bar is finally launching it on Sunday, with five interesting craft beers created by their beer geek Sachin Khhavle. We couldn’t wait to find out how they taste...

VERBENA WITBEER

With four per cent alcohol and a refreshing taste, the Verbena Witbeer makes for easy drinking. It’s flavourful yet light and we could feel the smoothness of the drink as we gulped it down.

AYE BLONDE!

A light yellow European ale, this one tastes malty and yeasty and has a rich flavour.

STOUT & OUT

The taste of bitter chocolate and espresso is uppermost on our palate as we sip on this rich, dark beverage. The tannin present in the drink made our mouths feel slightly dry. This one’s for those who like their beers strong.

FORBIDDEN FRUIT

A crisp flavour is what we get on sipping this drink. The distinct fruity aromas made this instantly refreshing and it stood out as a clear favourite for us.

YAYGER BIERSTER

This one is a mouthfull! And by that, we mean that this experimental blend of complex flavours that sees beer infused with jagermeister has a balanced bitterness and a round finish. You almost feel that you’re biting into something. A must-try when you’re at Verbena!
