If you’re not wondering, then you probably know that they’ve had the messiest break-up of 2016, and we’re counting Brad and Angelina. It all started with a series of Instagram posts, and led to lonely snaps and angry mothers. Here’s what happened from the start:
1) Blac Chyna’s Instagram gets ‘hacked’
The drama began on Saturday when Chyna’s Instagram was apparently ‘hacked’ by someone, and the person revealed over a dozen screenshots of Chyna’s direct messages. Some were with athletes, and rappers such as Jaden Smith and Young Thug, to whom Chyna sent explicit pictures and was apparently flirting with. There were also messages to Chyna’s lawyer from her, where she said she would leave Rob after trademarking the Kardashian name.
2) Rob and Chyna face-off on the gram
After the hack, Rob took snapchats of an empty home with a Christmas tree, announcing that Chyna had left him and taken Dream Kardashian, their new born baby, as well. He posted heartbroken messages on Insta, saying “I have never been this heartbroken in my life. My baby girl is one month old and Chyna took her and left this beautiful home that I bought just for us, right before Christmas. I truly loved Angela. I gave everything I owned for her. Didn’t know I was just part of her plan. I am so broken”.
Chyna then hit back with her own side of the story, saying “I’m done! This entire year I have done nothing but help Rob.” She wrote on a new Instagram page, “It’s so sad and pathetic how low he’d stoop to cover up his personal issues. I have done nothing but help and loved him from the beginning. Rob asked for all of this. Rob begged me to have Dream. He stressed me out my entire pregnancy. He’s on snapchat acting hurt but he’s yet to come see Dream yet. He knows where we are.”
3) Jokes on Rob by Rob
Since Twitter is savage, it didn’t take everyone long to start posting memes about the break-up, including ones with Home Alone (a family comedy without a family) and others, with Rob’s face photoshopped in it. The surprise came when Kardashian himself started reposting some of these memes. When people started questioning his lighthearted approach to the split, he defended himself by saying “People are tagging me in these memes and just because I’m posting them doesn’t mean this wasn’t all serious. This is all very real and serious to me and I’m trying to cheer myself up with these and they are making me laugh.”
4) More drama
After weigh-ins from Chyna’s mother, and the whole of Instagram commenting the snake emojis on Chyna’s Instagram, the drama continued with Rob finally posting a public apology to Chyna on his Intagram, and admitting that he will ‘change’ for his daughter. Some people think this is all just to promote their TV series Rob and Chyna, and some think this is just the weirdest and most public break-up ever. We can only find out in the next episode of their show, apparently.
