Chocolatier Zeba Kohli will be doing that and more as she returns with the second edition of Project Seven, an extravaganza of fashion, lifestyle, fine food and jewellery
Chocolatier Zeba Kohli juggles many roles with ease, apart from her passion for creating delicious chocolat, she is also a philanthropist, a mentor and an accomplished entrepreneur. All of these different avatars come together under one platform as she hosts the second edition of Project Seven, a fashion and lifestyle extravaganza. We caught up with her to find out more.
How did Project Seven come about? And what can people expect in its second edition?
I have been promoting entrepreneurs since 2006 and 2007 but I took it a step forward last year with the introduction of Project Seven. It's inspired by the seven chakras of Shakti - Life, Order, Wisdom, Love, Power, Imagination and Understanding - all of which promote a happy and healthy you. Over, the years, through my interactions with different people I have come across talented young people who want to start something of their own, and hosting Project Seven helps me provide a platform for these young entrepreneurs. Actress-social activist Shabana Azmi, once said to me, "You give so much of your time to entrepreneurs and different causes. You must also encourage them to deliver an excellent product and try and keep it seamless. The idea for Project Seven came from there. For me it's not just an exhibition. It's a showcase of excellent products by talented entrepreneurs.
Any surprises for chocolate lovers?
Yes, I am taking my passion for making and eating chocolate to another level with the unveiling of The Fantasie Ultimate Chocolate Game box. This innovative box helps children express their imagination in amazing new ways. The box has been designed as a stage, different characters can be made from shapes designed at the rear cover of the box. It allows you to eat and play with chocolate, and use your imagination to create a story, upload and share it with friends and family. Another highlight is the launch of my new range of cakes and cookies.
And what else can people look forward to?
Well there's Eat street, a food alley featuring food entrepreneurs such as Mystique , Delectables by Janki, Confetti by Priyal Kothari , Open Table, Green Tokri, Eat-A-Whey , UZO Bar Kitchen, Copper Chimney and Fantasie Fine Chocolates. You can also shop for the festive season and check out stuff by Svetlana Casper, Natasha Kapoor, Trupsel, Priti Mehta, Nita Shah, Roliana Benares, Pre Ri, Madhu S: luxurious jewellery from Sitara by Sabina Singh and Zeba Kohli, TAD, Zeenia: Fashion Accessories by Stoffa, Crimzon, Kokkmo , Veruschka Shoes, Neeta Parekh, Made By M, Nitya, Shimmer Shack; home accessories and furnishings by HouseProud and 10am by Anjali. There will also be a special concept store titled "Interpret", curated by design connoisseur Sabina Chopra where fashion looks will be presented in a way that takes the fear out of fashion.
