Style Hunter: Tailored to thrill

Resort 2019 collections saw designers toying with different tailoring techniques — relaxed, languid and sharp. Designer Veronica Beard teamed a red double breasted jacket with a pair of matching track pants and Altuzarra showcased a check pantsuit with voluminous trousers.

Fendi experimented with tailoring by presenting trouser-skirt hybrid worn with a long jacket. Gabriela Hearst gave a new twist to a white pantsuit by accenting it with statement-making fringes, Max Mara’s runway saw a black pantsuit accented with plume like appliques and Marissa Webb teamed a grey check jacket with fuzzy edges with a pair of matching cropped pants.

MSGM added a pop of hue to their double breasted pantsuit by adding cobalt blue to the lapels and pockets.
