It won’t be an Elie Saab show without some jaw-dropping spectacle and this time the couturier was inspired by the Gatsby aesthetic and the ensembles were accented with twinkling crystals and flirty feathers.
On the other hand, Zuhair Murad focused on Native American motifs recontextualising feathers to dreamy proportions. The opening model sported feather-inspired eye make-up along with feathers accenting the hair. Ralph & Russo too couldn’t resist the allure of statement feathers.
Their latest collection gloried thanks to the hand-painted motifs and ostrich feathers which were inspired by their recent trip to Asia. Tactile feathers were seen across the board - from Armani Prive and Schiaparelli to Givenchy and Giambattista Valli.
