: Italy's patrimonies
Highlights: Designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli derived inspiration from marine creatures: starfish and snails prints, and embroideries in the form of shells, sailing ships and underwater creatures like the Portuguese man-of-war. Sheer applique gowns, laser cut eyelet summer dresses were a feast for the eyes.

Highlights: Diagonally cut, thigh exposing leather skirt spelled Donatella. Micro mini skirts were paired with shirts which were unbuttoned till the navel. Some of the pieces were sheer exposing the nipples and most of them had bold monochromatic letterings. Clearly meant for a biker chick who owns can rock a badass leather skirt with nonchalance.

: John Everett Millais' Ophelia
Highlights: Golden lighting and a mossy forest floor added to the hippie 70s settings. Loose printed floaty tops were paired with metallic striped trousers and layered with long embroidered jackets. There were jewel toned jackets with zippers, metallic wide legged trousers which came with a drawstring, accessorised with circular rimmed sunnies and tube tops worn with bermudas.

: Gypsies, Game of Thrones, Joan of Arc
Highlights: The show radiated a strong air of erotica - be it the a little black dress with grommeted lacing between the breasts, worn with peep-toe boots or monochromatic latticed jackets and coats, each more ornately decorated than the last with whipstitching and filigree; Roman gladiator dresses in studded leather backed with lace.

: LA's Glam rock fan girls
Highlights: From the opening cherry print asymmetrical dress to the leather skirts embellished with flowers - the show evoked a rocker chic vibe which designer Hedi Slimane is known for. From the sequinned sheath mini cinched at the waist to the thick smokey eyes and fringed hair - everything evoked LA's spunky music scene.
