Singer Arpan Mahida reflects on composition being a heaven’s gift

Every time you hear a song for the first time, what attracts you the most? The melodious voice of the singer, the background music, or the lyrics. Well, many would answer all of it, but where the core of any song lies in its composition. Anyone can be a singer, but the art of composition is rarely found.

The people with this art always have an extra edge towards making glorious musical songs.

It is a privilege for our country to be the home place of some of the legendary musicians like R.D. Burman, Satyajeet Ray, A.R. Rehman, and many more.

Arpan Mahida, a charismatic singer who won millions of hearts with his melodious voice believes that composition is a born gift that is owned by some lucky people. “According to me you can learn any musical instrument, but creativity comes from heaven. You can play the music piece if someone has composed it by reading notations. Nobody can teach you how to compose because that inspiration comes from heaven. So, every composer has to pass through the emotions, according to the song mood”, said Arpan.

The charming singer thinks every composer has different reasons that inspire them to compose melodious music. “All composers have their ways to compose a song. Like some composers go to on hills/mountains to get the tune. Some composers get inspiration while sleeping. I have my way; I compose while driving my car. 90% of my songs I have composed while driving”, said Arpan.

Arpan Mahida started spreading his magic of music to his fans in 2015, in 6 years the stupefying singer has given some notable compositions like Aakhri Alvida, Chhabilo, Manghela, Phuljhadi, Rangtaali, Haasil, and Spectrum (Album). Not just Arpan is an enigmatic singer but also an intelligent composer who holds a good command of music production software like Logic Prox and Ableton Live. The singer was recently involved in composing some meditation music to heal our soul and mind in this pandemic situation, uploaded on his own YouTube music channel.
