Sindoor at NYFW

Indian elements have been seen all over the runways across New York, London and Paris in terms of embroideries, prints and embellishments. At the Libertine fall 2015 show at NYFW, models sported sindoor-esque hues in their centre-parted hair as they sashayed down the ramp. Designer Johnson Hartig played with the ideas like surrealism, rave, punk, street. Hartig's phalanx of models shook a leg, took selfies, and dazzled their way down the catwalk at show's end.

Flashing funky gold, bejewelled manicured - the line had a maximalist vibe.
