It isn't uncommon to borrow your brother's oversized linen shirt and wear it like a shirtdress. Also, sisters often raid their bro's closet for badass biker jackets, big dial watches and souvenir bombers. Of course, sky is the limit as to what a sister can steal from her brother's wardrobe, but same can't be said about guys. We ask designers and stylists to suggest some cool styling swaps...

Masaba Gupta

"Boys can definitely borrow my black and white printed jackets from their sister's closet. I think most men can carry off the camera and cow printed jackets. Girls on the other hand, can borrow the oversized baggy jeans and ankle-length biker boots, which are very in right now."

Falguni and Shane Peacock

"Brothers can borrow sweatshirts and sunglasses, while girls may steal a shirt, a belt, boots and a tie."

Monisha Jaising

"Brothers can borrow a floral scarf to add a hint of pop to their ensembles while sisters can borrow almost everything, for example, the oversized pin-stripped shirts and belt it up as a shirt-dress."

Isha Bhansali

"Guys can borrow the bomber jacket which girls are wearing these days while girls can wear anything - even the boxers."

Rick Roy

"Sisters can borrow a lot of things - from the sunglasses to leather biker jackets, even T-shirts which can be knotted into a crop top. I can only think of socks for boys."

Nikhil Thampi

"Men's fashion is definitely evolving. When I did the cowl kurta in my first season, it became a laughing stock back then and today all metrosexual straight men want to look quirky and embrace that look.

I'd suggest guys to embrace drape-inspired looks - maybe they can add their sister's dupatta to their looks. Other options could be an envelope clutch and unisex jewellery. Sisters can steal oversized shirts, which are a rage now"

Aastha Sharma

“Sisters can easily take kurtas, long jackets and boyfriend jeans, I wear my brother's T-shirt a lot, they have an old school charm to them and are comfortable. I'd also suggest boxy denims, printed and leather jackets, big dial watches and retro Ray Ban aviators. Brothers can borrow coloured shirts and printed jackets besides oversized, sunglasses from their sister's closet."
