Serafina Mumbai’s new Specials Menu entices you to enjoy some more flavours from Northern Italy. Available as an add-on in addition to Serafina’s regular menu, it has a range of options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarians. An ignored lot at most fine dining eateries, the former has every reason to drop by as the veg selection is not drab and uninspiring but innovative and delectable.

We recommend you try the Crostini platter (Rs 550) and the Fungi Arrabbiata Al Pacino (Rs 475) mushrooms prepared in Arrabbiata sauce. Meat lovers too can choose from the Petti Pollo Ala Parmigiana (Rs 1,200), Chicken parmigiana served with house salad or the Involtini Di Pollo E Spinaci (Rs 750), stuffed chicken with mozzarella and spinach served with mash potato and red wine jus.

If you enjoy seafood, dig into the Brasato Pargo Rosso, red snapper served with chive mash potato and sautéed spinach or the Gamberoni Alla Griglia Con Spinaci Risotto, grilled jumbo prawns served on a bed of spinach risotto.

You can also savour the  Ravioli Di Zucca, in-house handmade pumpkin ravioli in creamy sage sauce, the Rigatoni Pomodoro Con Melanzana, pasta served with aubergine, mozzarella and tossed in tomato sauce, the Gnocchi Di Pesto Genovese (Rs 1,200), potato gnocchi in Basil pesto sauce or the Risotto Primavera (Rs 750), mildly spiced risotto cooked with seasonal exotic vegetables. Wrap up your meal with the sinful Affogato Al Caffe (Rs 525) that is a shot of espresso poured over Vanilla ice-cream or the Nacciola Crème Brulee (Rs 525), hazelnut crème brulee.
