He has played an important part in the victory of his father, Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma (politician) during the 2018 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election in Kekri. He also made major contribution in bringing congress board in Sarwar Panchayat Election 2020.
With the educational qualification of schooling from Maharaja Sawai man Singh Vidyalay of Jaipur and later for higher studies in Business Management from James Cook University in Singapore, Sagar Sharma has been actively working for the people in the society and trying to help poor and needy people. With his continuous efforts, he has even changed the meaning of being Mantri Putr.
Showing his concern about poor people who are in need of basic essentials, his caring approach towards people has gained a lot of popularity in the community. Normal people who do not understand politics are not interested in being educated. Those who struggle to put food on the table cannot devote their time in politics or promises.
Sagar Sharma’s youth brigade has helped many people in need during the pandemic. They formed a union solely dedicated to bringing relief to the poor during the outbreak of the deadly virus last year. They even played a constructive role in helping migrant workers reach their homeland. Sagar expressed that India being an agricultural country, farmers should be considered priceless. The Congress party-led government also reached out to the protesting farmers and expressed their support. He questions the audacity of treating the food provider in such a manner with violence.
Talking about his personal life, he keeps a hobby of driving, cooking, nature photography. He also shares that his Favourite stars (Bollywood and sports) includes Sonu Sood and MS Dhoni, where his dream for life is to receive Padma shree in social welfare.
Considering his father Dr Raghu Sharma, Health Minister Rajasthan, his mentor, in one of his interviews, he mentioned that the most he like about working in this field is happiness in Voter’s happiness and satisfaction after seeing the needy to get relief from their issues and the worst part lies that, even after doing all the right things and putting so much effort and hard work, people try to defame and play dirty politics.
Addressing to the public, he says that “The power of the people is much stronger than the people in power”. Thus, his advice to the masses is to use their voting power wisely without being biased towards caste, creed, religion, gender, etcetera. He says that even if people have different political ideologies, there should be no hate as everyone deserves respect.
