A love newspaper is unique. Create lay out for a newspaper and use your pictures to decorate its spaces. Also write down your special moments at specific columns. Your ‘firsts’ should form a special column. Let her know you remember every event you spent together. Keep it inside the morning newspaper and place it along with a cup of bed-coffee, a ring and a rose.
If you have a homebaker friend, ask her to bake a cake with the proposal written in your girlfriend's favourite frosting flavour.
Gather a bunch of your friends and family for a party. Put on a T-shirt bearing, “Will You Marry Me?” Suggest a group picture and let the shirt speak for you.
Drive down on Western or Eastern Express Highway during the peak hours of traffic. Once you are caught in the middle of non-moving traffic, get out of the car, climb on the car roof, call her out, go down on your knees and propose to her. Consider the 'honks' as your blessing!
Rent a theatre with a romantic movie playing, all for just the two of you. Surprise her with a film you've recorded—one that has messages from you, her family, your family, friends and all the fun moments you shared together. And just before the end credits, pop the question!
