Ever since he went in for a buzz cut, he's been telling people that his hairstyle is a reflection of the "state of the economy" - which is why the latest avatar seems to be a particularly desperate SOS about the country's fiscal health.

While most corporate captains would wince at the thought of walking into a boardroom sporting a modified Mohawk cut, some would argue that in Mallya's case it adds an dash of "aero-dynamism" to his natural charisma.
