The world's third largest comedy festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) will present the RAW Comedy India season 3 across the subcontinent this November. The comedy talent hunt will be held in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Delhi from November 7 to November 22, and aims to discover and showcase the best talent to the audience.

The winner gets a chance to perform at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in Australia on an all-expenses paid trip in April 2015.

Popular amongst youngsters, the national open mic comedy competition will be hosted by Raghav Mandava, who has wowed audiences by his style of social satire.

The festival has been brought to India by Teamwork Arts, an entertainment company with roots in traditional and contemporary performing arts, social action, and the corporate world. In addition to this, Teamwork Arts will also conduct an 'MICF Roadshow', which will showcase the best of the Australian comedy festival.

Sanjoy Roy, managing director of Teamwork Arts said, “At Teamwork Arts our endeavor is to bring the best of performing arts from across the globe to India. MICF Roadshows will tour across four cities for the first time in India and Raw Comedy gives an opportunity to Indian comedians to showcase their talents internationally at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Teamwork Arts aims to bring the best international comedy to India as laughter is supposedly the best medicine.”

Top international comedians Ronny Chieng, Kate Mclennan, Elbow Skin, Nish Kumar and David Williams will perform at MICF Roadshows in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru.
