Groggily peering into a mug of freshly brewed coffee is a morning ritual for many; the body desperately craving caffeine to give the nerves the jolt needed to wake up and face the day.

Coffee can provide that same buzz to your skin and hair.
Coffee grounds can be used as a face and body scrub to help exfoliate dead skin. Adding some sugar to the grounds provides for a slightly more abrasive and effective scrub.

Caffeine is said to combat cellulite and tighten the skin. It eclipses signs of ageing. Placing some moist coffee grounds under your eyes for a few minutes will help temporarily reduce the bags and puffiness, letting you look awake and refreshed.

Coffee grounds mixed in with water can be gently scrubbed on to the face and other cellulite prone problem areas to reduce saggy skin.

For the hair, spraying brewed coffee on to your scalp after a shampoo helps stimulate hair grown and decrease hair fall. You can even scrub your hair with coffee grounds before shampooing.

For those with naturally dark hair, coffee can be used as a colour enhancer instead of resorting to store bought tints. Just soak your hair in coffee and let it sit for a little while before you wash your hair with shampoo. This provides for an even hair tone and brings out a natural shine.
