Jordan D’Souza of JB Martin, Mumbai’s No.1 Roast Master’s is known for all kinds of roasts and specialises in slow cooking of meats. His stuffed turkeys and suckling pigs are hot sellers during Christmas, and armed with more than 17 years of experience in the catering field he alongwith his wife Benisha is now venturing out on the road with their food truck. Food Considering roasts are their speciality, The Big and Juicy, Slow Roasted Fast Food truck will be serving it all. From Pulled Roast Pork Burger served with cole slaw and in a poi (Goan bread) (Rs 250) that’s roasted for more than 18 hours to Pokey Spares (Rs 250) roasted baby back pork ribs with BBQ sauce that’s cooked to perfection and literally falls off the bone. There’s also a Pork Mince Brun (kheema pao mixed with pork). For vegetarians, there’s Salsafied Nachos (Rs 200) served with an in-house salsa and jalapeno cheese sauce) and Cold Sandwiches like Veg Corn Shrooms and Cheesy Cottage Peas for Rs 200 each. For desserts, try the Anglo Bread Pudding (Rs 70) or the Fruity Cream Shots (Rs 70). Chocolate lovers can try the Homebaked Choco Cookie (Rs 100) topped with chocolate sauce).
