Lakme Fashion Week: Get the summer look!

The glitter after the Lakme Fashion Week has just started to settle down. With its 'Sculpt' theme, the fashion week has continued with the no make-up trend. But there was definitely some playing around with textures and tones to let dewy faces, graphic eyes and sculpted lips take the centre stage.

Lakme make-up expert Natasha Nischol and her team of Fat Mu were behind creating all these looks for the fashion week.

Now let's get into the details, shall we?

Face - LFW shows continued with the current trend of no make-up. Shows like that of Sabyasachi, Suneet Varma, Mulmul saw models in dewy faces with cheeks shaded and contoured. Minimalist nude make-up was kept fresh given the role colours played in Suneet Varma's show. A touch of flush to the cheek was seen in Anavila's show.

Lips - Sculpted lips were the highlight of the entire fashion show. Be it on the runway for Anamika Khanna show or the front row of Sabyasachi's show. Other shows saw some petal stained, fresh lips. But nude and peach still dominated. Hence deep plums and reds felt like a breath of fresh air in Anamika Khanna's show. There was nothing glossy and glittery for a glam show like this. Matte lips across the platform!

Eyes - Soft, smudged mascara and kohl will be the flavour of the season if we belive the trends on runway. Graphic eyes were seen at the Quirkbox show because just plain cat-eyes are not enough any more.
