It’s the age of speaking out, and Twitter is everyone’s platform. Actress Keke Palmer just called out singer Trey Songz for including her in his new music video for Pick Up The Phone; and not just once, she called him out on Instagram and Twitter for the video, where she was filmed taking a few selfies.

The song, featuring MIKExANGEL, was apparently shot at a party that Keke was invited to by Trey, but it turned out to be the filming for the video. She said she only attended the party because she knew Trey since they were 12, but had no idea of the shooting. Apparently, after disagreeing to be in the video, she even hid in a closet to get away from the artistes, but still couldn’t avoid being filmed. When one of her fans complimented the video, she finally went off on a rant about how it was not approved.

She said that just because the artistes used “food, alcohol and some sexual intimidation”, it does not mean that he can get his way. She went on to say that this is how women are mistreated in the industry. While the kind of sexual intimidation is unknown, she also mentioned how she wanted to be treated with respect and how “no means no”.

Trey, on the other hand, gave a casual reply, tweeting “Babygirl buggin. Point blank period. Got my number, coulda called, saw the cameras and the lights, heard action.” He continued to say “I don’t do this twitter shit, girl you know me and got my number f*** outta here”. However, Trey did not give a full account of his story. The video has since been pulled off YouTube, even though it is not known if Keke was actually saying the truth.
