Trust designer Nikhil Thampi to always pack a punch - sometimes with his controversial tweets and other times his red carpet concoctions.

If his Instagram feed is any yardstick to reckon with then the designer's upcoming show at Lakme Fashion Week is inspired by 90's Bollywood aesthetic. Picture a wet and tactile Raveena Tandon wildly gyrating to Tip tip barsa paani from Mohra or the late Divya Bharti grooving to Saat samundar paar in a shimmery baby doll dress from Vishwatma. Thampi captioned one of the snapshots of these racy songs on his handle as - 'let's give Bollywood a make over' collection.

After his mysterious absence last season, the social media fav is back. Let's see if this offering creates the same impact like his Kathakali-inspired line which was an homage to his Mallu roots. Come on, show us what you got!
