Music has an ability to touch our souls. And if it comes with a message, it can transform lives. With this aim, music composers Salim-Sulaiman have joined an initiative to raise awareness against use of tobacco via music. Singers Shaan, Abhijeet Sawant, Kavitha Seth, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Akruti Kakkar, Shruti Pandit, Shraddha Pandit and Meiyang Chang will perform for Celebration of Life, to create awareness about cancer.

The initiative, organised by The Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA), is supported by people from all walks of life. “Smoking and tobacco are not only in personal but social evils as well. I was extremely concerned to learn about the increase in women smokers and I believe it is our collective moral duty to address this issue. I am proud to be tobacco-free and pledge my whole-hearted support to this campaig,” actor Vivek Oberoi, one of the supporters of the campaign, said.
