Haagen-Dazs has launched its new menu — The House of Häagen-Dazs’, which includes some sinful creations including the Sorbet Tray (Rs550), Very Berry Shake (Rs550), Tiramisu Charm (Rs720), Crème Brûlée Ice Cream (Rs210 for a scoop) and Summer Symphony (Rs1,825), an ice cream cake topped with fresh fruits.
Moving on from just ice creams to much more, there is a lot to choose from. We tried the Sorbet Tray that included a mango and raspberry sorbet, which is served with a chocolate sauce or a fruit-flavoured sauce. We recommend the latter as it compliments the sorbets well. For a tangy, fruity rich shake, opt for the Very Berry while Tiramisu lovers can gorge on the Tiramisu Charm that pays homage to this Italian classic. If a birthday is round the corner, and you are looking to get the best of both worlds, try the ice cream cakes which are available in fruity and chocolate flavours.
We recommend the Summer Symphony, a medley of summer berries, mango and passion fruit ice cream along with vanilla cake finished with white chocolate flakes and fresh fruits. A half kg cake serves six people. You can also opt for a bigger ice cream cake for Rs3,250 which would serve 12 people. For those in love with the classic Crème Brûlée, Häagen-Dazs has incorporated crunchy caramelised sugar bits into the decadently creamy custard ice cream. As you take a bite you will be pleasantly surprised to taste a caramel sauce that is concealed and only makes its presence felt with every delicious bite. These treats ate available at Häagen-Dazs outlets in the city.
