Tardar Sauce aka Grumpy Cat who went viral on the internet a few months back is now set to get a role in a Hollywood film thanks to her manager...yes her agent, Ben Lashes!
The female cat got famous when her picture was posted to social news website, reddit by her owner's brother, Bryan on 22nd September 2012. Since then, Grumpy Cat has been getting celebrity attention.
Her owner Tabatha Bundesen says that her grumpy face is due to a genetic disorder called feline dwarfism which is also the cause of her short feet.
We all know how famous this cat is on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. She was also named the most influential cat of 2012 by MSNBC. Along with this, in March, she sat for an interview with Forbes and appeared on TV shows like Today, Good Morning America, CBS Evening News, Anderson Cooper Live, VH1 Morning Buzz, and The Soup.

Apart from that, official Grumpy Cat merchandise has been sold at Walmart, Hot Topic, Thinkgeek, and many other retail stores. This internet meme has such a busy schedule that her owner had to take leave of absence from work to manage the pet's hectic routine.
Grumpy has already starred in a documentary film Lil Bub & Friendz by Andy Capper, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival this year. Now, this Hollywood film is going to be a huge break for this cat-turned-celebrity.
We wonder if any other models or struggling actors get opportunities this quick... Until then, let's rush to get Grumpy's paw-marked autograph before she gets surrounded by bodyguards.
