"Happiness is eating out of a yummy Asian take-away at work cos' I prefer not to leave my desk during lunch time," chimes an excited Sophie Damien as she talks to me across the table at Go Panda, a funky new Asian quick service restaurant with fine-dine gourmet food. This take-away/eat-in destination is the new buzz around Lokhandwala and Damien who works in Andheri as a social media writer says, "It's refreshing to have such a variety of Asian cuisines on one menu" and "it's perfect for work lunches".

Go Panda is the brain child of three young friends—Sachet Shah, Nikhil Rochlani and Yash Chandiramani. Their vision is to "be the best Pan-Asian cuisine quick service restaurant" and they aim "at providing customers a smart, easy-to-follow menu with consistent quality and quick delivery."
The menu is a well-crafted mélange of various oriental flavours like Malaysian, Chinese, Thai, Burmese and Vietnamese. It's interesting how Shah and his friends have picked the comfort dishes in all these cuisines and added their special 'Panda' spin to these dishes.

"I'm not a huge fan of seafood," says Darran Fernandes, who works in an editorial firm very close to the outlet. "But after having the Asian Barbecue Fish and the Fish in Mustard Sauce at Go Panda, it's like I've fallen in love with fish all over again."
Being a South Indian and a consequent fan of anything edible that has coconut in it, I couldn't resist ordering the Chicken Tom Kha Soup and the Chicken Thai Jungle Curry with Steamed Rice. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed. While there many familiar flavours are available for non-adventurous foodies, the menu also sports some unique creations like the Kim Chi Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Chocolate Mousse with Sea Salt Caramel Drizzle.
