Considering that Botox and lasers have already arrived, what kind of beauty treatments can be expected in the future?

The anti-aging and the aesthetic industries have some new research happening on a daily basis. We already have Botox and there are new indications that are researched every day. Where lasers are concerned, for instance, the next generation laser in combination with radio frequency can target white hair too… Stretch marks and dark circles are also issues, which many people face… In the future, I can see a lot of work being done in this field to be able to give lasting solutions to two of these commonest problems that most people today are battling. Hair loss is another unwelcome situation in our life. Hair transplant reduced this stress to a great extent. The next breakthrough in this field is that of hair culture. Once hair is grown in an outside medium, no one will ever have to deal with the loss of their crowning glory.

What would be the different ways of getting beauty treatments in the future?

There will surely be innovative methods to use the products that we have at hand. There was a time when Botox was considered just an anti-aging procedure. But not anymore! Today, so much more can be done with Botox, such as achieving a brow lift, lifting the corners of a drooping mouth, lengthening a chin, enhancing a jawline, taking away neckbands, making eyes look bigger etc. Not just that, it can also be used for reducing excessive perspiration in the underarm area and in cases of severe migraine too. Newer studies and research in Botox indicate reducing large pores, lessening the fine lines under the eyes and treating and rejuvenating the skin on the neck and décolleté region. We all know the benefits of Botox in relieving pain; based on this, studies are under way to use Botox in the calf muscles to help reduce pain, especially for people who wear stilettos all day long and whose muscles go into a spasm. Botox is even being tried in the form of creams! The day won’t be far when you may be able to keep lines and wrinkles away just by using Botox creams. Such creams are available even today, but as the molecule is big, it does not penetrate and reach the targeted muscle to bring about the desired result. There will also be creams containing potent hyaluronic acid, which can take away the fine lines as a quick fix solution. Dermal fillers are known to create and replace lost volume and contours. Today, research shows that they can be injected on the scalp as well as your soles to help increase your height by a couple of inches!

What demands do people put forth for future beauty treatments?

Time is money! Truer words were never spoken. In an age like ours, where we are constantly pressed for time, certain beauty treatments such as full body hair reduction, which are time-consuming and require a lot of sessions are not very welcome. I can already see people hoping that this treatment becomes less time-consuming and requires lesser number of sessions.
